The Company is building a novel fulfillment solution that uses robots to transfer items within a three-dimensional grid structure to increase warehouse throughput and reduce footprint (Demo). The grid structure is passive and contains no moving elements. A scalable number of identical robots can be placed in the grid structure to scale according to the customer’s needs. The unique feature of InStock’s robots is their ability to drive, lift, and carry bins while upside-down on the ceiling using permanent magnets.
