About
Bogdan leads new investments for u.ventures and oversees its portfolio. In addition to the role of Venture Director at u.ventures, Bogdan is primarily involved in sourcing and managing technology investments for Horizon Capital, a growth-focused private equity investment firm with over $1.5 billion under management, in his role as Investment Director. At u.ventures, Bogdan has led investments in NewHomesMate, Fintech Farm, DRESSX, OneNotary, SpeedSize, Bloomcoding, a follow-on investment in Turnkey Lender and more. At Horizon Capital, he has worked on the firm’s investment in Preply. Prior to Horizon Capital and u.ventures, Bogdan was an investment banker and he advised some of the leading tech companies across Emerging Europe on M&A and fundraising transactions. In parallel, he was an active startup scout for Earlybird Venture Capital.
Bogdan holds a Master’s degree in Investment and Finance from the University of Westminster, London, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Economics from Taras Shevchenko National University in Kyiv.
