At u.ventures, Markiian covers sourcing and evaluation of early-stage investments in AI, frontier tech etc. focusing on  due diligence, market analysis, and portfolio management.

Previously, Markiian was with Roosh Ventures, where he identified and assessed promising early-stage companies with focus on AI. He holds a Master’s in Business and Financial Economics from the Kyiv School of Economics and a Bachelor’s in Economic and Mathematical Modeling from the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.” He is also pursuing a PhD in Finance, focusing on the financial drivers of stock performance.
